Most of the minutes for University Council meetings are public, including – aside from the plenary meetings – those for the main committees, which are the Operations, Strategy, and Research & Education committees. Accessing these public minutes requires you to log in to a system called iBabs using the username burger and also the password burger. Below is a step-by-step explanation of how to do this.
Step 1
Go to www.ibabs.com and click on Sign in at the top-right.
Step 2
For SITE, enter maastrichtuniversity, and enter burger into both the Email address and Password fields under YOUR LOGIN CREDENTIALS. Click on Log on.
Step 3
This brings you to the ‘Dashboard’, from where you see the most recently published agenda’s and upcoming meetings. To access previous meeting minutes though, click on Meetings or Vergaderingen on the left.
Step 4
The next screen you see should be the ‘Filter’ view for past meeting minutes. By default, iBabs will likely have date filters enabled. If you’re looking for somewhat older minutes, clear the Vergaderdatum / Meeting date field. This shows all available meeting minutes. You can sort the columns in the filter view, for instance by meeting date (old to new or vice versa). Agenda type refers to either plenary meetings or one of the committees.
